Start A Business

Heard it all before! Why work for the man? You are smart and talented, use your skills to start a business.The federal government is dishing out loans and grants to small businesses right now. You can do it! Believe in yourself!  Ironically, I hold a degree in business but I do not have an entrepreneurial bone in my body. I have tried in the past to launch a travel, graphic t-shirt, virtual assistance business. I just do not have it in me. I am an introvert to begin with and hate sales. I have worked in sales but didn't last long. Even in my current part-time job I am required to sell a few services and I hate that part. I have tried drop-shipping, created websites to launch a gig and all ended as soon as they started, never made a dime. I mentioned being an introvert however, I can fake extroversion but only for so long! That's how I've survived at the workplace and even been promoted.

I do not believe being an entrepreneur is for everyone. I do wish people would stop suggesting that to me. I have a hefty mortgage and school loans that I will never be able to pay back. I do not need to take on any more debt to fund something I may fail in. Yes, it's all about risks, and "Oh hey! What if you do hit it big?" Well, I do not have the heart to find that out. I'd like to protect the little coins I currently possess to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly, now run along let me be. *Drops mic*

*Picks up mic* All right, look, I'm just scared okay? Funny how I fear losing money but I am never scared of travelling alone to a totally foreign place where people might not speak English. I have friends, both male and female who fear traveling alone, but I love it! Now listen guys, as much as I am terrified of starting a business, if you want to take the chance to help me beat this fear and perhaps let me curate some customized trips for you for a small fee, send me a message!
